At Humber Woodland, we are trying to reduce the use of plastic and other non-biodegradable products and you will be aware that we do not allow ornaments to be left on the graves.
We understand that families like to remember their loved ones at Christmas time, so we allow them to place wreaths on the graves, which we remove on or around Twelfth Night. However recent years have seen ever increasing quantities of plastic, oasis, wire, tinsel etc, which are most difficult to dispose of, so we would like to remind everyone that only environmentally friendly materials may be used in any tribute you decide to bring to Humber Woodland.
We invite you to join us in December, when we will be making Christmas Wreaths entirely from natural, biodegradable materials including holly, ivy, old mans beard, hops, fir cones, teasel and using natural twine and paper ribbon. There will be a warm fire as well as tea and coffee, so we hope you will come along for some early Christmas Cheer!
Christmas Coffee Morning – Saturday 11th December 2021, 10am – 2pm.
Please join us for Coffee, Tea & Biscuits at Humber Woodland of Remembrance in our shelter.
